LINES

One thousand times it seems
    That I've tried to write these divine lines
        They may rhyme they may not
Lines that might try to hide the meaning 
    In deep readings or they might just skim the surface
The surface seems to be my best friend
    Not that I'm afraid of the deep end but when it comes
        To the words that I write to you
            When words in lines just won't do
So I'll keep writing and maybe one day
    Lines will be made to capture the true meaning
        Of the feelings that I have for you
But baby until the day that the sun really shines
    And Webster defines new words for my lines
        I'll just have to show you the ways that I do
            And I'll tell you every day until the day finally comes that 
                I am head over heals in love with you!
