The thought of abandonment in heads of friends

3000 miles of land and objects creating distance

A chord struck in the head moving a body away

Understand that reminiscences won't be ripped

Won't be torn like pages from a magazine that

Some child in 6th grade needs for a school collage

Leaving was never easy; no one said it would be

Overlapping train tracks that both run in circles

One just started departing for another trip

Snow falls down here, but the sun still shines

The Mountain View's and the LongStreet's

Are the life, love, and pursuit of my happiness

Listen to the music and see where I'm coming from

I hear something you may or may not understand

I want to be great, I need to be heard, I am…

I will return, I must see you again, I swear…
