you come over and you sit in that chair
you know that I would sing to you, i'll sing to you
the sun goes down and the moon comes up
we can stare outside until it comes back around
you like to write and tell great stories
i like to sing songs about my life even if they're not true
i wrote the prior lines in a state of mind but i've changed
lets just use our powers and try to move the earth
if we end up in the rain dont worry about an umbrella
i'll give you my jacket so you dont get cold
and we can dance and give a show to those inside
im doing what i love and fucking the rest
little miss sunshine did portray that best i think
i havent met everyone in the world and dont really need to
i know you're great though and am glad that i know you
im quite sure about this, im content as friends
even if we do things that may be questionable to some
if im here and your there we know where we stand!
